We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate billing and coding, timely submission of claims, and efficient communication with insurance companies and patients.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately prepare and submit insurance claims and patient invoices.
• Review and verify patient information for billing accuracy.
• Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Maintain compliance with billing regulations and coding standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients, insurance companies, and clinic staff.
• Update and manage patient records in the clinic’s billing software.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of medical billing codes (CPT, ICD-10) and insurance guidelines.
• Familiarity with MODMED is a plus but not required.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Certification in medical billing and coding (preferred).
