Platinum Dermatology Partners is seeking an experienced PRN Histotechnologist in our Pathology Lab in North Dallas.
Position purpose
The Histotechnologist’s main responsibility is to perform all functions in the histology lab to include embedding, microtomy, staining, and filing.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

Support the diagnostic evaluation of tissue by histological procedures.

Perform histological duties within the guidelines established by histology laboratory

Perform a variety of specialized histopathological procedures, including but not limited to:
-
Embedding
-
Microtomy
-
Routine Staining
-
Special Staining
-
File slides, block and paperwork in alpha-numeric order
-
Equipment quality control
-
Perform related duties as assigned.
