Responsibilities

Data entry with attention to detail.

Prepare and maintain accurate laboratory records.

Entering patient and specimen information.

Verifying existing patient information.

Processing slide requests and sending by Fedex to the appropriate destination.
-
Filing slides and blocks.
-
Disposing of specimens by following policies and guidelines for chemicals and biohazard waste.
-
Assisting the Histotechs and Dermatopathologist, as requested.
-
Other duties as assigned.
