Advanced Dermatology and Skin Care Center is growing and seeking experienced Call Center Specialists to support our expanding Ohio region clinics, including locations in Salem, Warren, and Boardman, OH. About the Role
The Call Center Specialist is responsible for managing high volumes of inbound and outbound patient communications while ensuring accurate registration, scheduling, and insurance verification. This position works collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams to ensure a seamless patient journey from the first point of contact through their visit.
The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain professionalism and empathy in a high-volume setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound patient calls
- Complete patient registration and maintain accurate demographic data
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
- Schedule appointments and coordinate provider availability
- Respond to general practice inquiries regarding services and policies
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry within practice management systems
- Maintain patient confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations
- Collaborate with clinic teams to support operational efficiency
- Promote a positive and professional patient experience during every interaction
- Assist with special projects or workflow improvements as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in medical office administration, patient registration, insurance verification, or healthcare call center support preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-call-volume environment
- Strong attention to detail with proven data entry accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently
- Proficiency with practice management systems and standard office software
