We are a leading dermatology group committed to providing exceptional patient care in skin cancer treatment and aesthetic services. As a Medical Assistant in our Mohs Surgery department, you will play a key role in supporting surgical procedures and ensuring patients receive the best care possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for Mohs surgery by conducting initial assessments, obtaining medical history, and taking vital signs.
- Assist surgeons during Mohs surgical procedures, ensuring instruments and supplies are ready and sterile.
- Provide post-operative instructions and care guidance to patients.
- Maintain a clean and organized surgical environment abiding by safety and infection control protocols.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Coordinate scheduling and follow-up appointments for patients.
- Educate patients about the procedure and answer any questions to alleviate concerns.
