OverviewThe Clinic Training Specialist is responsible for developing and delivering remote Nextgen and EMA training for new clinic receptionists and clinic assistants, and on-site Nextgen and EMA training for integration clinic receptionists and clinic assistants, providing a consistent quality training experience for the development of highly trained staff
This position requires travel 75% of the time. Including air and car travel
Responsibilities- Provides effective remote Nextgen and EMA training for new clinic receptionists and clinic assistants.
- Provides effective on-site Nextgen and EMA training for integration of clinic receptionists and clinic assistants.
- Actively participates in development and continuous improvement of the training program, including recommending revisions and improvements to existing training materials, methods, and training guides.
- Maintains working knowledge and stays current on all reception Nextgen procedures.
- Prepares for training sessions including but not limited to setting up Zoom meetings, updating agendas, and creating EMR test patients & scenarios.
- Provides written feedback to clinic managers on trainee performance immediately following training.
- Provides surveys to trainees to submit to their regional clinic manager and encourages meaningful feedback.
- Adherence to completion of all company wide compliance training.
- Performs the duties of a Clinical Assistant and / or receptionist when assigned.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
QualificationsEducation:
- Certified Medical Assistant, LPN or RN is required. Must keep current on all state certifications, licenses and/or registrations to continue employment.
- CPR Certification is required per licensing requirements as applicable.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must be willing and able to travel approximately 75% of work time.
- 2 years of work experience in dermatology / Mohs surgey or 5 years of related work experience is required.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and a driving record that allows for insurability by Forefront Dermatology.
- Must possess excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills in order to provide a quality training experience.
- Ability to train using a variety of systems and methods. Must be adaptable to a variety of learning styles and capacities, with the ability to demonstrate a consistently calm, positive, and encouraging demeanor.
- Ability to provide effective, constructive, and positive feedback to trainees, and respond positively to constructive feedback from others.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team.
- Must display a friendly cheerful, tactful and polite demeanor, and compassionate caring in dealing with others.
- Must demonstrate leadership by serving as an example to others with regard to professional appearance and behavior.
- Ability to use time productively and contribute to high levels of company operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Must have proficient computer and typing skills. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
