Summary
The Clinical Research Manager is a pivotal role that leads a dynamic team, overseeing clinical trials and contributing to groundbreaking advancements in dermatology and skin care research. Job Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the research team in all phases of clinical trials, ensuring compliance, efficacy, and excellence.
- Collaborate closely with the Clinical Research Director to manage the operations of the Michigan Center for Skin Care Research
- Oversee protocol adherence, patient enrollment, and trial execution.
- Develop and implement strategies for effective recruitment and retention of study participants.
- Coordinate with sponsor representatives to prepare and execute study contracts and budgets.
- Create and manage research budget and contracts.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and ethical standards in all research activities.
- Facilitate communication and coordination among sponsors, investigators, and participants, enhancing the efficiency and impact of our research.
- Maintain records and documentation with a high level of accuracy in accordance with GCP and IRB standards.
- Complete accrual and revenue reports for corporate reconciliation of all monies due. Oversee invoicing to sponsors for pass-through expenses.
- Prepare and implement staff training and evaluations, fostering a cohesive and productive team environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent, certification as a Clinical Research Coordinator or Clinical Research Associate strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a clinical research setting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to research integrity and accuracy.
- Proven organizational and communication skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to shift priority and focus depending on business and industry changes while maintaining confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMA) systems.
