Summary
This role is a critical part of building relationships with our customers and may administer professional treatments, procedures, and products as well as making recommendations to assist in the development and growth of spa sales.
Job Responsibilities
- Performing clinical skin treatments such as Clinical Facials, Chemical Peels, and Micro needling
- Assist with scheduling of patients and coordination of appointments and procedures
- Provide esthetic non-invasive cosmetic treatments and services
- Make treatment recommendations by analyzing skin types, educating guests regarding their esthetic cosmetic treatment options, and selecting the option best suited for the guest’s needs
- Accurately maintain and update guest records while the guest is present, recording date and time of agreed proposal and documenting results from the previous session as well as noting the planned forthcoming treatment(s) per federal, state, local and company regulations and policies
- Effectively and accurately manage the storage, administration, and ordering of cosmetic and non-cosmetic supplies
- Undertake and participate in relevant audits with spa staff to ensure inventory levels are maintained and recorded to ensure that the appropriate and efficient use of supplies and products are being administrated
- Maintain and develop professional knowledge and clinical skills through regular and ongoing education and training in position and spa specific procedures, practices, and services
- Demonstrate strong procedural, technical and anatomical competency of esthetic cosmetic techniques for the various esthetic cosmetic procedures offered
- Provide accurate, appropriate, and immediate responses to all requests by guests via in person communication, email, telephone, and text, ensuring complete satisfaction
- Clean, sanitize, organize, and maintain equipment and procedure room, to ensure a safe, sanitary, and healthy procedure environment: launder, fold and store linens: report maintenance needs/concerns
- Perform follow-up calls to guests: review treatment, answer questions, schedule follow up, and promote retail product sales
- All other duties as directed and assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- A minimum of two years hands-on experience in a plastic surgery, salon/spa, or dermatology practice.
- Current esthetics licensure required.
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing at all levels of the organization.
- Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Provide a high level of customer service and drive customer service orientation to staff.
- Maintain strictest confidentiality.
