Schweiger Dermatology Group, a leader in dermatology practice with a growing presence in allergy, asthma, and immunology, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Allergy & Immunology Advanced Practical Provider with a minimum of three years of experience. As we expand our services to include allergy and immunology, we are looking for a professional who has a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care in this field and is passionate about dermatology and its intersection with allergies and immunology.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking, physical examination, and diagnostic evaluation.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with various allergic, asthmatic, and immunologic conditions.
- Administer and manage immunotherapy and other relevant treatments.
- Educate patients and their families about disease processes, treatment plans, and preventive care.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including allergists, immunologists, and support staff.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA and OSHA.
- Adapt to the dynamic needs of the practice as we transition from a focus on dermatology to encompass allergy, asthma, and immunology.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an active state license
- Masters Degree from an accredited program
- Minimum of three years of experience in treating allergy patients.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Flexible availability, including the ability to work evenings and weekends.
