Full-Time Advanced Practice Provider Position Near St. Joseph, Michigan

myDermRecruiter is actively seeking a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant with dermatology experience for an excellent career opportunity with a reputable dermatology practice near St. Joseph, Michigan.

Position Overview: As a key member of this practice, you'll engage in a diverse mix of medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. While the current demand for cosmetic procedures is moderate, the primary focus will be on medical and surgical cases.

You'll have the flexibility to provide care to adolescents and older patients, and although optional, the ability to handle pediatric cases is appreciated.

Responsibilities:

Conduct consultations, examinations, and treatment planning for dermatological conditions.
Perform or assist in dermatological procedures, including biopsies, excisions, and minor surgeries.
Manage patient care independently while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.
Utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software for accurate documentation.

Work Schedule: This group prefers a commitment of five days per week; however, they are open to considering a four-day workweek if Fridays are included. Initially, the candidate will start with a load of 20 patients per day to acclimate to processes and medical assistants. Current providers manage an average of 30-35 patients daily, with some reaching more than 40.

Qualifications:

Minimum of two years' experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in dermatology.
Proficient in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology procedures.
Ability to work autonomously while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
