We are a well-established medical and cosmetic dermatology private practice seeking a friendly, professional, and reliable Medical Receptionist to join our Front Desk team. Our practice is fast-paced, team-oriented, and focused on providing exceptional patient care and customer service. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, personable, and enjoys working with patients in a busy healthcare environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome patients in a professional and friendly manner
Schedule appointments and manage provider schedules
Check patients in and out efficiently and accurately
Answer and manage incoming and outgoing phone calls
Obtain and verify patient demographic and insurance information
Collect copays, outstanding balances, and product purchases
Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record
Communicate effectively with providers, medical assistants, and administrative staff
Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive patient experience

Qualifications

Experience in a medical office preferred, but not required
Dermatology experience preferred, but not required
Experience with EHR/EMR systems (ModMed/EMA preferred)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
Team player with a positive attitude

Job Details

Schedule:

Monday to Friday
Saturdays as needed
