About

I am a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant and Howard University Biology major with a strong interest in dermatology and a background in clinical training, research, and patient-facing work. I am graduating in December 2026 and am seeking a Medical Assistant position beginning in January 2027. I currently conduct dermatology and microbiology research at Howard University and founded the Howard University Undergraduate Society of Dermatology to increase student exposure to the field, particularly dermatologic conditions affecting skin of color. Through my MA training and externship, I gained experience with patient care, vitals, scheduling, insurance, billing, and other clinical and administrative responsibilities. I am passionate about learning, connecting with patients, and gaining hands-on dermatology experience while bringing a positive, adaptable, patient-centered approach to every environment.
