Job Responsibilities
- Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and perform other reconciliations
- Record journal entries and analyze general ledger accounts for trends and variances
- Support periodic financial and statutory reporting
- Work with outside auditors producing supporting schedules and information requests
- Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies
- Backup for other positions in the accounting department, as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 2-3 plus years of accounting experience required
- Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Computer savvy – strong Excel skills and the ability to work effectively across various enterprise software systems
- Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships across the organization
