Job Summary: Full Time Registered Nurse at our Onsite Clinics. The Registered Nurse will assist the physician in medical, cosmetic, and laser procedures.
Locations: Traveling Between outside Onsite Clinics (Coverage for locations outside of our current dermatology offices)
Schedule: Full time, 30+ hours. Availability Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays during business hours of (8am-6pm). Open Flexibility to help cover in a team environment is needed.
Essential Functions:
- Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance quality of service and care offered to patients and for respective provider(s).
- Assist provider in medical, cosmetic, and/or laser procedures.
- Assist provider in recording prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, photos, prescriptions, prior authorization, and/or procedures within established guidelines.
- Understand provider to patient flow and anticipate provider’s next steps to the best of their ability.
- Prep rooms before and after patients, including checking all equipment at the beginning of each shift to ensure all is in proper working order.
- Provide pre-care and post-care treatment or pre- and post-operative instructions as needed.
- Provide UVB treatments, PDT treatments, and injections of Biologics under MD, DO or APP supervision.
- Daily scan all retail, cosmetic products, medical supplies, and alert Lead and/or office management of any low-level supplies.
- Maintain progress notes and/or photographs in appropriate database, when applicable.
- Handle clients’/patients’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
- Perform inventory responsibilities and stocking of supplies and equipment as requested.
- Attend all in-house training and continued education opportunities.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor on an as needed basis.
Qualifications:
- Pass the NCLEX-RN.
- Active RN license in the state working in.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
- Dermatology experience strongly preferred.
- Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems.
- Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Excellent patient relation and customer services skills.
- Open availability to work during weekdays and weekends.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA & OSHA compliance
