Golden State Dermatology is a physician-led and owned dermatology group rapidly expanding across California, with over 37 locations. We are a leading medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology group specializing in skin, hair, and nail conditions, Mohs micrographic surgery for the treatment of skin cancer, surgical and non-surgical cosmetic skincare, anti-aging, body contouring, and plastic surgery.
We’re looking for a dedicated Mohs Technician to join our team and play a crucial role in delivering exceptional results. This position is an exciting opportunity to work closely with a skilled Mohs surgeon, preparing high-quality frozen section histology slides that are essential for patient outcomes.
What You’ll Do:
As a Mohs Technician, you’ll take pride in tasks that require meticulous attention to detail:
● Create Excellence Daily: Perform microtomy and staining of frozen section tissue to prepare high-quality slides.
● Ensure Accuracy: Maintain the diagnostic integrity of specimens, ensuring correct labeling and matching surgical case numbers to blocks, slides, and Mohs maps.
● Support Lab Operations: Clean, maintain, and prepare laboratory equipment on a daily and weekly basis to ensure smooth workflow.
● Stay Compliant: Follow OSHA and CLIA safety regulations to uphold the highest standards of laboratory safety and compliance.

Qualifications:
● 2-3 years of Mohs histotech experience required.
