This role is ideal for a Medical Assistant who enjoys working at the top of their training and supporting providers in exams, procedures, minor surgery, patient care, and clinical operations.
What You Will Do:
As a valued member of our clinical team, you will:

Assist physicians during exams, sterile field set-up, procedures, and surgical cases.

Prepares/administers medications and injections per policy (5 Rights, expiry verification) and may process refill requests under provider direction.

Prepare patients for treatment, including histories and consent documentation.

Perform wound care, dressing changes, injections, and suture removals.
-
Prepare and stock exams rooms.
-
Perform specimen handling and collection.
-
Accurately document care, medications, test results, and procedures.

Coordinate appointments, referrals, and testing.

Maintain medical equipment and supplies; responds to in-clinic emergencies per protocol and documents per policy

Uphold HIPAA, safety standards, and quality care protocols

Performs proper infection control and biohazard waste disposal; supports CLIA-waived testing procedures as trained.
This position combines hands-on patient care, procedural support, and clinical coordination. You will be performing clinical duties under the delegation and supervision of a licensed provider and in accordance with practice policy and applicable regulations. Qualifications
You Should Have:

High School Graduate or GED required.

1+ year(s) of experience in a medical or clinical setting (preferred)

Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

Strong patient communication and customer service skills.

Comfortable working in both clinical and procedural environments.

Basic to intermediate computer skills

EMR/EHR experience preferred
-
CPR certification.
