What we are looking for:
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) who has a desire to help build our organization as a premier employment destination. In this role you will be a part of a growing organization that provides limitless opportunities for career growth. You will continually evaluate programs, recommending improvements and help build training tools and systems to better support our teammates. As HRBP you serve as a single point of contact for the multi-site operations in your assigned region(s) to ensure they receive exceptional HR support and guidance. This position plays a pivotal role, working closely with regional operational management, in building trust, being viewed as an HR expert on the company’s policies, procedures, and benefits, and delivering high quality information with the necessary empathy, professionalism, and confidentiality. We’d also be ecstatic if you had an expert knowledge level of labor laws, regulation, benefit administration, conflict management and all things people! In this role you will be responsible for supporting clinics in certain geographic areas….so travel will be required.
What you'll do:
Plays an active role in the recruiting and onboarding of new employees in the assigned region(s). This includes candidate sourcing, recruiting, welcome emails, completion of new hire paperwork, new hire orientation, etc.
Consults with operational management to provide HR guidance to the field with focus on training, coaching, and mentoring supervisors and actively managing employee satisfaction across the region(s).
Maintains a strong understanding of company benefits and the guidelines and policies outlined in the company’s handbook to be perceived as a credible HR expert able to resolve complex employee relations issues.
Drives local employee engagement initiatives to enhance the employee experience and offer employee support to each staff member.
Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees to reduce the company’s risk and ensure compliance. Partners with the Legal department on more complex matters as needed.
Assists and provides effective, thorough, and objective support with performance management, conflict resolution, investigations, employee meetings, and corrective action, ensuring proper documentation and tracking of reported issues. For more complex employee relations issues, collaborates appropriately with HR Director, CPO, and Legal.
Developing and maintaining positive and trustworthy relationships across all levels of the organization to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Works proactively and collaboratively with assigned regions(s) to diagnose and prioritize workforce needs, provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, and succession plans.
Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation and supports HR initiatives such as 90-Day Reviews, annual performance reviews, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Service Awards, Annual Benefit Open Enrollment support, and other initiatives to support the organization from a people perspective.
Creates and maintains employee personnel files per standards, keeping appropriate documentation of issues/investigations, maintains I-9 files in accordance with company policies.
Assists as needed with employment verifications, general payroll questions, FMLA, leaves of absence, 401k and personnel-related audit(s).
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of five (5) years of Human Resources generalist experience resolving complex employee relations issues required.
PHR/SHRM-CP certification preferred.
Multi-site healthcare leadership/human resources support is strongly preferred.
Knowledgeable of administrative practices and procedures as well as laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to employment, wage and hour, and labor relations.
High level of accuracy, dependability, responsiveness, and dedication to ensure excellent customer service to all levels of the organization.
Willing to work in a clinic-environment 75% of the time (majority of travel by car), 25% remotely from home or at one of our offices. Overnight travel may be required depending on assigned region(s). Must have reliable transportation and good driving record.
Experience with HRIS, ADP Workforce Now (preferred).
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Medical office, procedure/exam room and laboratory environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, biohazards or toxic substances. Daily activities may include standing, walking, sitting, bending and lifting items up to 30 lbs.
