- Location: Hybrid remote/Lake Oswego, with ability to travel to all clinical locations across states
- Typical Schedule: Mondays – Fridays, this position is exempt/salary, actual schedule may vary

Position Summary
The Assistant Project Manager (APM) plays a key role in managing and improving operational performance. This position supports larger organization initiatives, oversees portions of project workstreams, and ensures that clinic workflows, patient experience processes, and practice integrations progress smoothly. The APM partners closely with the Project Management Office, operations leadership, clinical staff, providers, IT/EMR teams, revenue cycle, and patient‑facing teams to implement solutions that enhance efficiency, support high‑quality care delivery, and create a consistent operational standard across practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead assigned projects related to clinical workflow optimization, services line expansions, new site integrations, and operational standardization.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverable tracking; proactively identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate cross‑functional project teams and facilitate effective communication across stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver updates, project summaries, and recommendations to operations leadership.
- Monitor operational metrics including cycle times, schedule optimization, provider productivity, and patient experience indicators.
- Assist in the operational planning for adding new dermatology providers, expanding services, or launching/acquiring clinic sites.
- Coordinate credentialing, equipment setup, supply planning, and process integration activities.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to support decision‑making.
- Produce dashboards or recurring reports on project performance, operational KPIs, and improvement initiative outcomes.
- Use data to identify workflow gaps, opportunities for improvement, and potential patient‑experience enhancements.
- Serve as a liaison for operations, clinical teams, marketing, contact center, revenue cycle, and IT for dermatology‑centric projects.
- Support communication planning, including drafting updates, preparing presentations, and coordinating stakeholder meetings.
Qualifications
Required:
- Associate's degree in project management, business management, or similar education, preferred
- 2–5+ years of experience in healthcare operations, project coordination/management, or clinic administration.
- Demonstrated experience leading or supporting operational projects.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools and data analysis platforms.
- Ability to work in clinical environments and understand healthcare workflows.
Preferred:
- Experience in dermatology, ambulatory care, or multi-specialty clinic operations.
- Knowledge of EMRs (Epic, ModMed, or similar platforms).
- Basic understanding of dermatology services (medical, surgical, cosmetic) and clinical operations.
- Experience supporting acquisition integration or multi‑site operations.
