QualDerm Partners is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our growing team in Wilmington, NC. We specialize in comprehensive skin and aesthetic care—including medical dermatology, skin cancer treatment, cosmetic services, and plastic surgery—and are dedicated to delivering personalized, high-quality care throughout each patient’s wellness journey.
This role is ideal for candidates with prior dermatology experience or a strong interest in the field, who are eager to contribute to a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. As a key member of the clinical team, you will support providers in delivering efficient, high-quality dermatologic care while ensuring an exceptional patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination by obtaining vital signs and accurately documenting medical histories
- Assist providers during dermatologic exams and procedures, ensuring all instruments and supplies are readily available
- Perform basic laboratory testing and properly prepare and handle specimens for analysis
- Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Coordinate patient scheduling and support clear, effective communication within the practice
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and skincare regimens
- Ensure exam rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked to support efficient clinical flow
