Accounts Payable Specialist

Summary
The A/P Specialist supports the team by processing payments, verifying invoices and performing account reconciliations to ensure the organization’s expenditures are accurate.
Job Responsibilities
- Accurately record and issue payment for all invoices and expense reports, in an organized and timely manner.
- Resolve all payables related issues.
- Work collaboratively with all internal cross functional teams to process invoices.
- Create new vendor accounts.
- Assist in month end closing process.
- Provide support for internal and external audits as necessary.
- Help prepare annual 1099 Forms.
- Identify and contribute to improve AP process and controls.
- Provide support for projects and perform additional duties as needed to support the organization.

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1- 2 years of accounts payable experience.
- Experience in a multi-site environment and/or healthcare organization preferred.
