We’re hiring a Front Desk Receptionist to join our busy dermatology office in Buford, GA. This is a great opportunity for someone with customer service, retail, or medical office experience who enjoys working with people and keeping things organized in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Fridays: 8 AM - 4 PM)

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Manage front desk operations including patient check-in, check-out, and flow of the waiting room
- Answer and route incoming calls, take messages, and assist with patient inquiries
- Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals
- Enter and update patient demographics, insurance, and chart information accurately in the system
- Verify patient information, required forms, and signatures prior to visits
- Collect copays, balances, and other patient payments
- Assist with basic billing and insurance questions
- Track patient flow and communicate delays or updates as needed
- Maintain organized and accurate patient charts and documentation
- Process incoming faxes, reports, and interoffice communication
- Support inventory tracking and supply ordering as needed
- Complete end-of-day tasks including balancing payments and running reports
- Assist clinical and administrative staff as needed
Qualifications
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- 1-3 years of experience in a front desk, receptionist, medical office, or customer service role (preferred)
- Experience with patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, or phones is a plus
- Previous experience in a medical office or dermatology setting is helpful but not required

Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods with occasional standing, bending, and reaching
- Manual dexterity to operate a computer, keyboard, and office equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively in person and by phone
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
