An established, physician-owned dermatology group in Virginia is seeking an experienced Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its clinical team.
This full-time opportunity offers a four-day workweek, a competitive base salary with additional earning potential and the ability to focus on general / medical dermatology while incorporating cosmetic services based on your experience and interests.
You'll practice at one dedicated location (just outside of Newport News), with no travel between offices and have access to an experienced team of dermatology professionals.
A Clinical Setting Designed to Support Your Practice
- General / medical dermatology focus, with opportunities to incorporate cosmetic services, including injectables and laser treatments.
- Approximately 2832 patients per day.
- One dedicated medical assistant, increasing to two when daily patient volume exceeds 20.
- EMA electronic medical records.
- Work alongside an established dermatology team.
Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time, four-day workweek (with the option to work five days if preferred)
- Competitive guaranteed base salary commensurate with experience
- Additional productivity compensation based on collections
- $10,000 sign-on bonus

Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- At least one year of dermatology experience required.
- Experience diagnosing and managing general medical dermatologic conditions.
- An interest in cosmetic dermatology is welcome but not required.
- Strong clinical judgment, patient communication skills and the ability to manage an established outpatient dermatology schedule.
