About
I am a Biology student at the University of North Carolina Wilmington with nearly one year of experience as a Medical Assistant in dermatology. Most recently, I worked at Waccamaw Dermatology, where I assisted with general dermatology and Mohs surgery by rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, documenting in the EMR, assisting with biopsies and excisions, and providing patient education.
In addition to my dermatology experience, I have completed clinical internships at Smith Medical Clinic and Liberty Doctors, where I gained experience with patient records, medical documentation, and clinic operations. I also provide in home patient care as a Home Health Assistant.
I am currently seeking a part-time dermatology position in the Wilmington area that will allow me to continue developing my clinical skills while completing my degree and contributing to excellent patient care.
