The Role
We are seeking a highly reliable, detail-oriented Medical Assistant who thrives in a team environment and can keep up with a busy clinic. This is not a “stand in the corner” role—our MAs are critical to patient flow, provider efficiency, and overall success of the practice.
What You’ll Do
- Room patients efficiently and accurately
- Document patient history and assist providers during exams and procedures
- Perform scribing in EMA (Modernizing Medicine)
- Assist with biopsies, excisions, and Mohs procedures as needed
- Manage patient flow to keep providers on schedule
- Handle patient checkout and assist with scheduling follow-ups when appropriate
- Educate patients on treatment plans and post-procedure care
- Maintain clean, stocked, and organized exam rooms
- Work collaboratively with front desk and clinical team to ensure seamless patient experience
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience (dermatology strongly preferred)
- Experience with EMA / ModMed is a major plus
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Ability to stay calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Team player mentality with accountability (we don’t do “that’s not my job” here)
