Full-time, onsite/hybrid | $28–30/hr DOE
An established, physician-led dermatology practice in the East Valley is hiring a Patient Communications & Marketing Manager to own the patient communication experience and drive growth across our medical, surgical, and cosmetic services. This role focuses fully on patient-facing communications and marketing.
What you’ll do:
Own our secure patient-messaging program, including queue management, routing, response-time standards, and daily coverage. Problem-solve by identifying pain points in the patient experience, working with management, front office, and back office staff to optimize. Partner with front-desk leadership to improve phone access and reduce call abandonment. Run recall, reactivation, waitlist, and reminder programs that keep the schedule full and patients in continuity of care. Reduce no-shows and cancellations, especially around surgical and high-value visits. Manage online reputation, including reviews, responses, and patient-experience follow-up. Build and run new-patient marketing across multiple locations, including local SEO, Google Business Profile, social, email, and content. Promote cosmetic and elective service lines through offers, campaigns, and events. Support referral-source relationships and track which channels actually drive new patients. Keep all patient communication HIPAA-compliant and documented.
What we’re looking for:
Required: 3+ years in healthcare marketing, patient communications, or medical practice operations. Hands-on experience with ModMed EMA and Klara. A track record in patient outreach, retention, or practice growth, ideally with measurable results. Working knowledge of HIPAA as it applies to patient communications and marketing. Strong, clear writing and a calm, service-minded approach to patient concerns.
Preferred: Dermatology, Mohs, or aesthetics/medical-spa experience. Local SEO, Google Business Profile, and review-management experience. Multi-location practice background.
