Full-Time Dermatologist Opportunity in Central New Jersey
Join an Established Private Practice with Strong Patient Demand and Room to Grow
Job-9311
**Accepting 2027 Dermatology Resident Applications!
A well-established private dermatology group in Central New Jersey is seeking a Dermatologist (MD/DO) to join its team in 2027. This is a true growth opportunity created by continued patient demand.
For the right dermatologist, this role offers the best of both worlds: the clinical resources and support of a larger dermatology organization within a private-practice environment. You’ll step into an established location where the patient base, staffing and infrastructure are already in place, giving you the ability to build a busy practice without starting from scratch.
Build a Broad Dermatology Practice
You’ll work alongside a small, collaborative team of dermatology providers while practicing a mix of:
- General dermatology
- Surgical dermatology
- Cosmetic dermatology
- Botox and dermal fillers
- Laser treatments
- Contemporary nonsurgical aesthetic treatments
Whether your interests lean heavily toward medical dermatology or you want cosmetics to remain an active part of your practice, this opportunity offers room to build a clinical mix that reflects your strengths and interests.
A Busy Practice with Support That Scales With You
The practice sees strong patient demand, with dermatologists typically caring for approximately 35 - 40 patients per day.
Rather than expecting physicians to manage that volume without adequate support, clinical staffing increases alongside the pace of your schedule. Depending on patient volume, physicians are supported by one to three medical assistants, plus scribe support while typically working from two to three exam rooms.
The result is an infrastructure designed to help you stay focused on patient care while maintaining an efficient clinical flow. The practice also uses EMR/EMA software.
Compensation Designed for Stability and Long-Term Upside
The compensation structure gives you financial security as you establish yourself within the practice while creating meaningful upside as your patient base grows.
The first year includes a guaranteed base salary dependent on experience. Compensation then transitions to a tiered percentage-of-collections model, with percentages increasing as production grows.
Additional benefits include:
- Malpractice coverage
- Employer-matching 401(k) plan
- CME allowance
- Paid time off
Practice in Central New Jersey
This location offers access to one of New Jersey’s most established suburban healthcare markets while keeping physicians within easy reach of the greater New York metropolitan area.
For dermatologists who want proximity to major East Coast opportunities without practicing directly in New York City, Central New Jersey offers a practical balance of professional access, suburban communities and connectivity throughout the region.
Looking Ahead to 2027?
This group is planning ahead for continued growth and is open to speaking with dermatologists considering their next move in 2027, including physicians completing training.
If you're looking for a private-practice opportunity where patient demand is already established, support grows with your schedule and long-term earning potential is tied to the practice you build, this opportunity deserves a closer look.
