Skin & Cancer Center of Arizona is seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Patient Communications Specialist to join our growing dermatology team. This permanent part-time position is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys talking with people, takes ownership of their work, and understands that every patient interaction matters.
As the first voice many patients hear when they contact our office, you will play an important role in creating an exceptional patient experience from the very first call.
Schedule Options
Choose the schedule that works best for you:
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM OR
- Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
30 hours per week

- Starting at $20+ per hour based on experience

What You'll Do
- Answer incoming patient calls with professionalism, warmth, and efficiency
- Schedule and reschedule appointments
- Assist patients with questions and direct calls appropriately
- Help patients navigate their care and office services
- Accurately document conversations and messages
- Work closely with providers and staff to ensure excellent communication
- Take ownership of patient concerns and follow through to resolution
- Represent our practice with kindness, patience, and professionalism

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous medical office, dermatology, call center, hospitality, or customer service experience
- Experience scheduling appointments
- Knowledge of medical terminology is helpful but not required
